Prezi officially states that it is NOT possible to crop SWF images or animations. However it can actually be done quite easily, you can even crop the built-in Prezi icons.
The trick is simple:
- Group the SWF that you want to crop with some content (group it with anything, even text)
- Double click on the SWF (Prezi icons are also SWF)
- Crop
- Ungroup content
