Insert a Hyperlink in Prezi

Currently the only option to insert a hyperlink in Prezi is to use a real link.

So if you want people to click on a link and go to your website, then you would have to insert the real link as http://your-website.com or www.website.com.

Currently it is not possible to make an image or a word, for example Click Here to be the actual clickable hyperlink.

This is bad news for many people because a lot of presenters would like to use the feature to link content to another slide in Prezi or simply add custom links.

What if your URL is really long?

So what if your URL is located at:

http://your-website.com/folder/subfolder/images/extralongnameforsomereason/mylinks/thisismypdffile/1.pdf

The only reasonable solution is to use URL shortening services.

For this we strongly recommend a URL https://zapier.com/blog/best-url-shorteners/shortener.

The Future?

Nobody knows when or if Prezi will add the hyperlink future.

This feature has been requested a long time ago in the feedback forum however this idea is still in the “under discussion” mode (which means it could take years)
